Limpopo singer, KCee, has
given a $5,000 cash prize to the winner of his recently concluded Social Media
Pageant, Miss Fine Face. The
winner, Sophie Omolola Martin, a student-pilot based in Accra, Ghana was
overwhelmed because in her words, “the competition was everywhere online and
there were thousands of pretty contestants. I just couldn’t stop screaming when
I was announced winner. I also liked the fact that I got an all-expense paid
trip to Lagos all the way from Ghana to receive my money.” Asides
charity donation and hopefully religious tithes, Fine-face Lola says; “I’ll use
the cash I won to further my education.” She
added: “KCee is quite inspirational. He is good at what he does, and his songs
prove that. I have won his $5,000 and unknown to him; I have also ‘won’ a
life-long lesson from him. He achieves whatever he sets his mind on, and that’s
what I must start doing from here on.” Excited
about the immense success of Miss Fine Face, the Instagram-Pageant, which is
not a respecter of size, height, or location, KCee maintains the contest “is
more than a pageant. It’s my little way of saying ‘thank you’ to fans.”
Meanwhile,
KCEE has dropped the video of his latest single, ‘Fine Face’, which was shot in
South Africa and currently being enjoyed online and on TV stations across the
world.
