10. Use them to treat scrapes and bruises
A scrape or a bruise should never be neglected. After you have disinfected it with an antiseptic, you can hasten the healing process by rubbing a banana peel on it. When rubbed on a wound, the potassium in the banana peel helps the healing process.

11. Use as fertilizer for tomato plants
wrapping banana peels around your tomato plants allows them to absorb the nutrients through the soil. You can do it all the year round.

12. Attract birds and butterflies, naturally
if you love the sights and sounds of birds and butterflies in your garden or at your balcony, all you have to do is place peels from overripe bananas on a raised platform to attract them. But remember that wasps and bees may get attracted as well.

13. Remove warts
Warts are quite difficult to remove and often come back with a vengeance. Every night, for about a week, use the duct tape to stick a piece of banana peel to the area that has the wart. The potassium in the banana peel will do away with the outbreak and prevent it from coming back.

A splinter can be quite painful and uncomfortable. To remove it, tape a piece of banana peel on top of the area where the splinter has entered. The natural enzymes in the banana peel shifts the splinter and makes it easier to remove.

Banana peels add tons of nutrients to the soil as it breaks down fairly quickly.

16. Use banana peel water to fertilize indoor plants
To fertilize indoor plants, soak a banana peel in a large jar of water. Mix one part of the banana peel water with five parts of regular water in a watering can and sprinkle on your indoor plants.

17. Treat acne

Use a ripe banana peel to scrub the blemishes for about 10 minutes. Allow the residue to stay on your face as long as possible and wash it off before you go to bed. Repeat this every day until your acne has cleared up.

Tips to keep in mind
· For best results, always use fresh banana peel.
· Don't keep a banana peel for too long. Use it immediately after you have peeled it.
· Store your bananas in a dry, cool place and keep it away from sunlight or heat.
· Avoid storing a banana peel in a refrigerator.
